Not only does Intelligent Pharma offer several chemoinformatics and bioinformatics services to its costumers, but we also develop high-level research projects in new computational technologies and determine their application in meeting the customers' biomedical requirements. Below, we highlight some technologies and applications that have been developed by Intelligent Pharma scientists.
Technologies
Artificial intelligence: Intelligent Pharma developes research projects in several areas within this field, especially focusing on: evolutionary algorithms, support vector machines, and high-advanced statistical techniques. The benefits of these technologies, combined with our supercomputing resources, are remarkable in applications such as computer-aided drug design, biochemical modeling, computational chemistry, or knowledge extraction from medicinal chemistry databases.
Docking: Intelligent Pharma's scientists have a wide variety of experience and expertise in docking research, especially when applied to medium-sized and highly flexible molecules, such as peptides. Among other docking oriented technologies, Intelligent Pharma's scientists have developed new highly parallelized docking procedures, which use supercomputational resources capable of working in complex de novo drug design projects.
Molecular diversity technologies: Intelligent Pharma has been doing research in several molecular diversity technologies. Our engineers have successfully incorporated those technologies in maximizing the molecular diversity in lead generation projects as well as in compound management projects.
Machine learning: Machine learning, combined with artificial intelligence technologies gives us a powerful way to automatically discover new knowledge from chemico-medical and biological databases. Intelligent Pharma scientists and engineers have been doing research in data mining and data warehousing techniques that can be applied to this topic.
Chemical database management: Intelligent searches of compounds within chemical databases is crucial to perform lead generation in a quick and inexpensive manner. These searches must be based not only on structural and physico-chemical properties but also on pharmacophores.
